A complete RFQ helps a manufacturer recommend an appropriate machine and reduces avoidable quotation revisions. Distributors can use this checklist for sample orders, mixed-model trials and repeat purchasing.
Application and market
State the destination country, customer industry, floor area, floor material, soil type, daily cleaning hours and expected annual use if known. Include local access limits such as narrow aisles, ramps, elevators or noise restrictions.
Model and configuration
Identify walk-behind, ride-on or sweeper-scrubber preferences, target tank range, cleaning path, runtime, battery chemistry, voltage and charger requirements. Ask the supplier to list any options separately so quotations remain comparable.
Order and logistics
Specify sample or batch quantity, mixed-model requirements, delivery destination, preferred shipping terms, packaging and requested shipment timing. Ask which assumptions are included in the quotation.
OEM and documentation
Describe logo placement, machine color, labels, language requirements, manuals, packaging artwork and any private-label expectations. Confirm artwork approval steps and the exact documents available for the destination market.
After-sales readiness
Request recommended spare parts, consumables, maintenance schedule, warranty terms and technical support process. Confirm which parts are model-specific and what information the local service team needs.
